My obsession with music sparked from an early age when I discovered my first true love Hip-Hop! I remember lying on my bedroom floor with a double cassette boom box recording every song to make mix tapes for all my friends and cousins. This developed into a curiosity of how Hip-hop used samples from other genres, little did I know this interest would cultivate my taste for Soul, Brazillian Jazz, Funk, R’n’B, Turntablism, as well as writing and producing my own music.

Since those early days spent living in record shops, I have been privileged to have DJ’d at some of the finest venues, private functions and events across the world and now I come to you live and direct every Saturday morning with the DJ Gilbear Saturday Breakfast Show.
